The Lafayette Studio Big Band is a seventeen piece jazz orchestra made up of experienced Bay Area and New York musicians playing the original big band arrangements from the 1940's, and 1950's and the music you love through today and beyond.
With the modern day musical arrangments from Gordin Goodwin, Bob Mintzer, and Louie Bellson, we specialize and play your favorites from the greats in tribute to the legacy of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman.
